Urban Nexus Design Studio (UNDS) is a multidisciplinary design practice bridging landscape, urban design, and heritage conservation.
Urban Nexus Design Studio (UNDS) is a multidisciplinary design practice based in Ahmedabad, India. Led by Imran Mansuri, whose professional experience spans more than two decades in India and the United States.
His work encompasses architecture, landscape architecture, and historic preservation, including projects in New Mexico, USA, and diverse regions of India. This breadth of experience shapes a practice that values technical rigor, ecological sensitivity, and contextual understanding. Architecture, landscape, and urbanism are deeply interconnected, and our approach integrates these domains into coherent and thoughtful design solutions.
Technical Rigor and Spatial Poetry
Technical Rigor
Our work bridges spatial poetry with performance and sustainability, ensuring constructability is integral to the design narrative.
Deep Observation
We prioritize listening carefully to a site’s ecology, history, and climate rather than imposing predetermined ideas.
Academic Inquiry
Our engagement with academia reinforces a culture of inquiry, where each project is an opportunity to learn and contribute.
The minds behind the Nexus.
